  • RARE John Wayne Winchester Model 94 32-40 With Original Box

    This was a limited edition gun put out by Winchester for the John Wayne & Gun collector. Make: Winchester Model: 94 John Wayne Commemorative Serial Number: JW27493 Year of Manufacture: circa 1980 – On ATF C&R List Caliber: .32-40 WCF Action Type: Lever Action Rifle (Large Loop Carbine) with Tubular Magazine Markings: The right side of the barrel is marked “John Wayne Commemorative”. The left side of the octagonal barrel is marked “Winchester Model 94 .32-40 Win. / Made in New Haven Conn. U.S.A. Winchester Proof Steel”. The serial number is on the underside of the frame and the Winchester Proof is on the barrel at the receiver. Both flats of the receiver are nicely engraved with The Duke’s movies and scenes from the same. Barrel Length: 18 ½” Sights / Optics: The front sight is a dovetail set blade and the rear sight is a dovetail set leaf with elevator. Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are checkered oiled wood. There is one tiny mark on the belly at the toe. The wood otherwise looks new and the “Genuine American Walnut” sticker is still on the belly. The LOP measures 13 3/8″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the blued carbine butt plate. The stocks rate in about Excellent to LNIB overall condition. Type of Finish: The receiver, lever, barrel bands and medallion in stock are plated. The barrel and magazine tube are blue. Finish Originality: Factory Original Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99.9% of its metal finish. We cannot find any wear to mention on the metal. The screw heads are untouched. The markings are crisp. Overall, this rifle rates in about LNIB condition. Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The original box is included with this gun, with scabbard, gun rack and paperwork. The end label of the box is included but not attached. The sleeve shows light tatters and a few creases, but is otherwise sound. Also provided are: the inner Styrofoam box and lid, Purchase Record Card, Instruction Manual, Warranty Page and the leather lace for the saddle ring. The original wax papers are even retained. All accessories rate in Excellent to LNIB condition. The ad for the Scabbard and Gun Rack that were sold with this rifle are included as are the new in box Scabbard and Gun Rack!

Weekly Consignment Auction - We have a weekly consignment auction every Tuesday and sometimes on other days throughout the week.  We do local, national and global advertising for this sale.  We have live bidders at our facility, but also phone and absentee bidders from all over our country and the world. World Wide Gallery Auction - We provide an on-line, live stream auction where all our clients from all over the world can bid simultaneously. Our dynamic staff hand selects each item, putting in hours of research and time in to accurately describing and prepping for the next upcoming sale. These specific auctions receive a lot of attention from potential buyers, as we put forth a strategic marketing plan and catalog each lot with incredible descriptions and product photography, taken from our modern photography studio. Estate Auction - We have the Auction at your residence, in some instances we can move the sale to our facility. Let us help you determine the best atmosphere for your sale.
