  • Seating for over 300
  • Non-smoking interior with designated smoking areas outside
  • Plenty of Parking, Loading Dock,
  • Computerized check in, cashiering, and registration
  • Items Shown with video camera on video screen (example a diamond ring becomes 40 inches on wide screen TV.

 

To get there: Off I-81 Take the James Madison University Exit, head west to Main Street, (U.S. 11) Turn Left on Main and go to second stop Light, Turn Right on Pleasant Hill Rd, .9 Mile on left.

Selling? If you have just a few items to sell or An Estate, this is the way to go. The Old School Auction staff takes in your items on Monday mornings from 9 to 10a.m  By Appointment Only.  or Friday's Between 11 a.m. & 1 p.m. Please give us a call before you load your truck to ensure we can take your items. Upon their arrival at our facility, items are tagged, inventoried and scheduled for an upcoming auction.

 

Some items may be reserved for a special ‘catalog’ auction where we put together some of our highest quality items and target advertising to get the best price for your items. The auction staff will discuss with you the terms of the sale and commission rates for advertising and selling your items.

 

Weekly advertisements in the Daily News Record and online on ourUpcoming Auctions list let the public know about your items.

Moving to a new home? Whether downsizing or upsizing, we can help make your move smooth and carefree. We use top-notch equipment and our quality staff do their best to ensure you are satisfied with our service.  We carefully wrap and pack your antiques and furniture so that dents and scratches are not a worry. We also ensure your items are wrapped and kept clean and intact throughout the move.

 

Rates & Scheduling

 

We at Heatwole Auction would be honored to provide our moving service to you. Our price is based on an affordable hourly rate that covers the job from start to finish and includes our truck, a driver and required laborers to complete your move. There is no additional cost for travel if you are located within 15 minutes of Harrisonburg, VA.  Additional costs for travel outside of Harrisonburg, moving specialized items, moving specialized locations, etc. may apply and will be disclosed prior to your move. Payment is required immediately upon the conclusion of your move. If you are planning to move in the near future, we advise that you contact us as soon as you know your move date. Our calendar fills fast (particularly in the summer months) so we recommend you contact us within 3 to 4 weeks of your move date to ensure your desired move date can be accommodated.

 

We offer a free no obligation home inspection of your items to be moved.
