I recently had to dispose of an estate and heard of Summit Estate Sales through an attorney. They made disposal of this estate one of the easiest sales I have ever had. I found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable. If they did not know the value of an item to be sold, they did research until they had an answer. When we were choosing an estate sale company from 800 miles away in the middle of winter two things stood out for us. The first was obvious. Summit Estate Sales was booked solid in spite of the uncertainty of Missouri winters. The other companies we researched had sporadic listings or none at all. The second was a bit more subtle but held great weight for our family-Pat Seeley was an Eagle Scout. When we were flying in to hand keys over to a total stranger giving access to every possession my Mom held dear, we could not have asked for a better character reference. We were not disappointed. Every member of this company was professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. Nothing seemed to phase them: not the massive amount of things to sell, not our special request not to use a staircase that required more personnel for them and not the highly collectible items that required experts to price. When they say they will handle everything they are not exaggerating. Their organizational skills far exceeded our expectations and yet they were always mindful that to our family this was not just merchandise. We had quick response by phone and email to all of our questions and were updated each day of the sale. On the last day of our sale, Pam handed me seven pennies "found in your Mother's things" a gesture that would be absolutely unheard of here in Atlanta. When I tell you this company is top-notch it pales in comparison to the caliber of the individuals that comprise the team.
