Backwoods Auction and Artifacts, LLC is an auction firm that specializes in estates sales, online, and on site auctions. We are centrally located in the Town of Altavista, Virginia in a large commercial building with tremendous warehouse space. We are fully staffed with associates who are eager to assist our customers and clients with their auction needs. Our owner Charity Lambert has many years of experience in antiquities, coins, glassware, pottery, vintage toys, & more. Charity and her sisters grew up working for their grandparents Marie & Bill Burgess on the Altavista Trade Lot selling, hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, & snow cones out of a stand. Her eye and love for vintage items began very early by walking around the Trade Lot with her grandfather and sister looking at all types of items vendors had for sale. She has a vast knowledge in coins/currency, glassware, pottery, & more. She has over 10 years of experience working actively in the auction business.Our goal is to treat our customers by the way were raised “The Golden Rule”. We are eager to put our skills and knowledge to work for you. No estate is too big or small.
