Joseph Merkel has been part of the auction business since 1987 when he started conducting mail, phone & fax bid auctions while attending Michigan State University. Since that time, he has helped conduct auctions throughout the U.S. and has worked with many attorneys, companies, executors, individuals, corporations & national organizations. Mr. Merkel served as a Director on the Michigan State Auctioneers Association Board from 2006-2010. He is also a Life Member of the National Auctioneers Association. His award winning marketing and mesmerizing auction chant has allowed him to work in conjunction with his peers on numerous occassions. He also works with approximately 20 Charity Groups, both nationally and locally, to raise funds for their respective organizations and causes.
