July 24, 2013 Recently I was faced with the task of significantly downsizing my estate I knew that this task was bigger than I wanted to handle myself, so I hired one of our (Familyestatesale.com) local professional members, Garnett Estate Sales and Dry Goods. I am happy to say that I absolutely made the right choice in using this estate liquidator. Garnett Estate Sales and Dry Goods and all of their employees were a pleasure to work with, especially owner, Rachael Garnett. Rachael worked tirelessly to make the sale organized, profitable and successful. She made sure all items were priced and priced correctly. She researched most items to ensure that they were not underpriced. To both of our surprise she found that many of the books I had collected over the years were quite valuable. These books brought hundreds of dollars instead of the few dollars they have sold for without her doing the research. She did a great job of promoting the sale using many different resources and methods, which resulted in an unbelievable turnout. She made sure that items that would be of interest to collectors where listed on her advertising. Garnett does something most others liquidators don't; they open the sales on Thursday afternoon, which gives those who work a chance to get to the sale before all of the good stuff is gone. Garnett Estate Sales made sure that the sale was adequately staffed. Their staff was professional, cheerful and attentive. Unlike most liquidators, they even had staff that happily helped customers load their merchandise. I was most pleased with the honesty and integrity displayed by Rachael and her crew.
